NHL attendance data are sporadic, at best. The NHL does not publish attendance data and rely upon team owners for what there is. NHL attendance, by team and by year, 1999-2000 through 2001-02 are from Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal. The data to 1990-91, incomplete as they are in spots, are from Quirk and Fort, Pay Dirt (Princeton U Press, 1992). Additional annual average (per game) attendance data can be located by team at HockeyZonePlus (but not produced here). The files are in MSExcel format. So, use your "Save Target As" command to save them to your hard disk.
